Mama Mia's Italian Eatery

5719 Victoria Ave Niagara Falls ON 905.354.7471

A M A L says DEVOUR THIS FOOD

1) Appearance - very, very cute. Smells of wine, looks very cute-Italian. Nice brick walls, kind of a vintage look. The women's washrooms were super smelly and narrow, though. Pretty gross.

2) Service - pretty slow and bland

3) Portions - big

4) Taste - ok, nothing special, but a nice change from the generic chains lined up on Clifton Hill. I had the lasagne, it was tasty, but had a bit of a weird after taste: probably the beef wasn't lean at all. But it was good.

5) Price - very reasonable, approx. $15 and upwards per dish

C H R I S says DEVOUR THIS FOOD

1) Appearance - cute, comfortable

2) Service - slow, nothing extra, but fine.

3) Portions - big

4) Taste - I had the penne with chicken, it was OK, I enjoyed it.

5) Price - very reasonable

*TIP* We only stopped here because it was on the way to the car, on our way back from the falls. If you have the time and want to spend a little more money, there are a couple of falls-view reastaurants you should definately try, not to mention the hotel restaurants lined up along the falls (e.g. the Keg Steak House Falls view), over by the new casino. Alternatively, and again, if you have the time, drive back to Niagara-on-the-Lake and hop into one of their quaint restaurants - you won't regret it, if only for the scenery alone! Niagara-on-the-Lake is also not polluted with these TGIF type chains as Niagara Falls is. BOTH beautiful destinations, though.
